Hi, I’m Steven. I’ve spent over 40 years figuring out how to make work simpler, smoother and far less stressful - mostly because I’ve lived through the chaos myself. I started back in 1979 as a telecommunications technician in the rail industry, driving from station to station fixing clocks, signal telephones and anything else that decided to break. I didn’t know it at the time, but planning my routes and organizing my workday was my first real taste of workflow optimization.
Over the years, I moved into office-based planning roles and quickly realized just how much time gets lost in delays, outdated systems and endless back-and-forth. Instead of accepting that as “just the way things are”, I became determined to make things better - not just for myself, but for everyone around me. That curiosity turned into a passion, and eventually into helping colleagues streamline their work, reduce stress and take back control of their day.
Outside of work, I’m married, a godfather to three brilliant kids and a proud cat dad to Harvey - who walks at a jaunty angle and has far more personality than any cat reasonably should. I’m a volunteer leader with Rotary International and the UK Canals & River Trust, vice president of a model railway club, a lifelong sci-fi reader and someone who never turns down a good coffee, chocolate or curry. I also love live music - everyone from Metallica to ELO to Jean Michel Jarre.
These days, I specialize in helping busy professionals cut through the noise, eliminate bottlenecks and build workflows that actually make life easier. I’ve seen hundreds of people reclaim hours each week, lower their stress and finally feel in control again - and that’s why I do this. If I can help someone finish their day calm, confident and on top of things, I’m exactly where I want to be. I'm looking forward to helping you too!
